App „NeoCollage“ und Website neocollage.docksoft.de · Stand: 15. September 2026
1. Verantwortlicher
Rechtsgrundlage: Ihre Einwilligung, Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. a DSGVO und § 25 Abs. 1 TDDDG.
6. Absturzberichte – Google Firebase Crashlytics
Keine Bildinhalte.
Zweck: Fehler finden und beheben.
Speicherdauer: 90 Tage.
Rechtsgrundlage: Ihre Einwilligung, Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. a DSGVO und § 25 Abs. 1 TDDDG.
7. Werbung – Google AdMob
Anbieter: Google Ireland Limited.

Privacy Policy
“NeoCollage” app and website neocollage.docksoft.de · Effective: September 15, 2026
1. Controller
2. Overview
- Your photos are edited on your device only. We receive no image data, and the app does not analyse image content.
- The app requires no account.
- The app is funded by advertising (Google AdMob) and an optional subscription (Google Play). For these, and for usage statistics and crash reports, we use Google services described in sections 5 to 9.
- Usage statistics (Firebase Analytics) and crash reports (Firebase Crashlytics) are only active after you have given consent.
3. Photos and locally stored data
Photo selection. You select photos through the Android system photo picker, or share them to NeoCollage from another app. The app only gets access to the images you selected, not to your whole gallery.
Processing. Arranging, cropping, effects and export take place entirely on your device.
Export. At your request, the app saves finished collages to the “Pictures/NeoCollage” folder on your device. For sharing, it places a temporary copy in the app cache and hands it to the app you pick in the share dialog; that app is responsible for any further processing.
Presets and settings. Presets you save are kept in the app’s internal storage, optionally with copies of the images used. Settings, the subscription status and an export counter are also stored locally. You can delete presets in the app settings; all local data is removed when you uninstall the app.
Android backup. If you have enabled Android backup, the operating system may back up app data to your Google account. You control this backup in the Android settings; we have no access to it.
4. Consent request
In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, the app asks for your consent at start-up using Google’s User Messaging Platform (Google Ireland Limited). Your choice is stored on your device as a consent string under the IAB Transparency & Consent Framework and reconciled with Google.
To change or withdraw consent: at any time in the app under Menu → Settings → Privacy settings. Withdrawal takes effect for the future; it does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before it.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR in conjunction with Art. 7(1) GDPR (proof of consent).
5. Usage statistics – Google Firebase Analytics
Provider: Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, as our processor.
When: only if you have consented in the consent request to storing information on the device and to measurement. Outside the regions named in section 4, where no consent is requested, Analytics is active.
Data processed:
- a random app instance ID and, unless disabled on the device, the advertising ID
- device model, operating system version, app version, language, approximate country or region (derived from the IP address)
- first launch, sessions and usage time
- in-app usage events: images added (number and source, no image content), collage exported or discarded, export errors, features used for the first time, tutorial progress, subscription screen opened, completed subscription purchase (plan, price, currency)
- advertising events recorded automatically by Google (e.g. an ad viewed)
Purposes: understanding which features are used and where users leave the app; improving the app; measuring the success of advertising campaigns for the app. For this, individual events (e.g. export, purchase) may be linked with Google Ads.
Retention: event data is deleted automatically after 2 months, user-level data (e.g. conversions and user properties) after 14 months.
Legal basis: your consent, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and § 25(1) TDDDG (German Telecommunications Digital Services Data Protection Act).
6. Crash reports – Google Firebase Crashlytics
Provider: Google Ireland Limited, as our processor.
When: under the same conditions as Analytics (section 5). If the app crashes before you have decided, the report stays on the device; without consent it is not transmitted.
Data processed: time and technical trace of the error (stack trace), device model, operating system and app version, free memory, a random installation ID, and short technical log entries of the app (e.g. error codes of the advertising and billing libraries). No image content.
Purpose: finding and fixing errors.
Retention: 90 days.
Legal basis: your consent, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and § 25(1) TDDDG.
7. Advertising – Google AdMob
Provider: Google Ireland Limited. Google processes the data for advertising as an independent controller.
The app shows full-screen ads after exports, and optional video ads that unlock a high-resolution export. Subscribers see no ads.
With your consent, Google may serve personalised ads. Without consent, Google serves non-personalised or limited ads.
Data processed: advertising ID, IP address, device and app information, interactions with ads. Even for non-personalised ads, Google processes technical data to deliver ads, count reach and prevent fraud.
Legal basis: for personalised advertising, your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, § 25(1) TDDDG); for non-personalised ads, our legitimate interest in funding the free app (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
You can reset or delete the advertising ID in the Android settings under “Privacy → Ads”. Information from Google: policies.google.com/technologies/ads.
8. Configuration – Google Firebase Remote Config
Provider: Google Ireland Limited, as our processor.
After the consent request, the app loads advertising settings (e.g. how often ads appear). This transmits a random installation ID, the app version, and the device language and country.
Legal basis: our legitimate interest in adjusting advertising without an app update (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
9. Subscription, updates and ratings – Google Play
You buy and manage the Premium subscription through Google Play (Google Commerce Limited or Google Ireland Limited). Only Google receives payment data. The app receives the proof of purchase, the chosen plan, the price and the subscription status from Google Play and stores the status on the device.
Cancellation: at any time in Google Play under “Payments & subscriptions”, or in the app via “Manage Subscription”. Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel.
Through Google Play, the app also checks whether an update is available and offers you the option to rate the app. You submit a rating directly to Google; we do not learn whether or how you rated.
Legal basis: performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR); for update checks and the rating prompt, our legitimate interest in an up-to-date app (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Google’s privacy policy applies to processing within Google Play.
10. Recipients and transfers to third countries
The recipient of the data named in sections 4 to 9 is Google Ireland Limited. Google may transfer data to Google LLC in the USA. Google LLC is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, so an adequacy decision of the European Commission applies to the USA (Art. 45 GDPR). In addition, Google uses Standard Contractual Clauses (Art. 46 GDPR).

Transfers to the USA are based on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or Standard Contractual Clauses. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in a secure, reachable website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
